MHOA's May Quarterly Meeting - Green Burials

Green burial is an emerging local public health topic. A panel of speakers will demystify green burials by explaining what it is and addressing common misconceptions. Hear from local communities and statewide partners on how these green burial sites perform, their challenges, solutions, and impacts.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this training program, participants will be able to:
- Explain green burials and describe the differences compared to conventional burials
- Explain and debunk common misconceptions about green burials
- Describe the regulations and guidance related to cemeteries and burials that apply to green burials.
