MHOA Weekly Newsletter
|
Wow! We're excited that more than 150 members have already taken our member survey. Make sure you provide your input on all things MHOA for the upcoming year.
MHOA invoices: Please check your MHOA account to ensure you have paid your invoices. As we approach and then reach the end of the fiscal year, we know it gets much harder (or impossible!) to pay invoices from a previous fiscal year. You can check your MHOA profile by logging in here. Once you are logged in, on the left side of your screen under "My Account", select the red button "View Invoice/Registration History." You will see a red "Pay Now" button next to any registration that is unpaid. If you have any questions, please reach out to Lisa - lpacella@mhoa.com.
Tobacco RFQ: We're seeking a consultant or consultants for project management, instructional design, and communication support on our tobacco control program. You can see the request for quotes here. The deadline is March 3.
DC SACCHO Trip: Later this month, Jen Tsoi and I are heading to Washington, DC, for NACCHO Leadership Week. We'll participate in SACCHO meetings with leadership from organizations similar to MHOA from around the country. Then we'll participate in Hill Day where we visit with legislators/staff. Let us know what to share with the federal legislators, or can you help collect stories from your municipality or SSA? Share them with us here.
Central MA site needed: The NEIWPCC Onsite Wastewater Program is seeking potential classroom space in central Massachusetts to host a future Soil Evaluator Certification training. We also need potential field locations in western Massachusetts to dig and observe soil test pits. We are looking for properties with suitable soil conditions and landowners willing to allow supervised, one-day educational use of their land. All excavation is conducted by experienced professionals, and sites are treated with care and respect. Interested parties can contact Michelle Jenkins at mjenkins@neiwpcc.org or 978-349-2516 to learn more.
Wishing everyone a relaxing long weekend,
Teresa Wood Kett, executive director
