Conference update
Wow! We're excited so many people are joining us for the 2024 MHOA annual conference. We're expecting about 650 attendees, speakers and exhibitors! It's a good thing we've moved to a larger space. Registration is closed, and we're unable to accommodate additional attendees this close to the event. If you're missing out this year, we hope you'll mark your calendars (and register early!) to join us next year back in Springfield, Nov. 5-7, 2025.
Do you know a recent local public health retiree? Let us know!
During the conference, MHOA will be recognizing local public health professionals who have retired in the last year. Retirees can let us know themselves, or we welcome information from colleagues. Help us build the list to recognize longtime dedication to the profession as our colleagues enter their next chapter.
Send retiree names by Wednesday, Nov. 6 to Doug Halley, membership coordinator: dhalley@mhoa.com
Inkless Tattoo Inquiry
Is your municipality getting inquiries about inkless tattooing? Or have you issued permits for this? It's a process that uses a serum instead of ink. Send any details you have to share to Rae Dick, MHOA's immediate past president, rdick@westfordma.gov
Relocation party
The Sweets are relocating to Florida! Wish MHOA member Kevin Sweet well Nov. 7 - RSVP to mochoa@norwoodma.gov
