MHOA Weekly Newsletter

It's been a whirlwind of a month for MHOA, as I'm sure many of you are also experiencing with end of the fiscal year tasks. I hope next week's holiday will bring opportunities for rest and rejuvenation with family and friends, and hopefully more beautiful weather!

We added a "Member News" section to this website this week to highlight retirements, promotions, new jobs, passing credentialing exams and more! Check out this week's updates here. Help us keep it populated, and we'll help you keep up with what's going on in local public health. Send member news to MHOA's program assistant, Clariese Natal at cnatal@mhoa.com

Some of us are also saying goodbye to colleagues who are retiring, and to staff in programs that are ending. The Academic Public Health Corps ended operations this month. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks and best wishes to the APHC staff members who are moving on -- Tali Schiller, Rupak Bhatt, and Amy McInerney. Thank you for your service to local public health. You will be greatly missed.

The newsletter will be on hiatus next week, we'll return on July 12!

Teresa Wood Kett, Executive Director
